Author Guidelines

Thank you for choosing to submit your manuscript to our journal. These guidelines are designed to help you understand the submission process, formatting requirements, and publishing policies, ensuring a smooth progression from submission to publication.

I. Submission Policies

1.1 Scope of Manuscripts

We welcome original research from all fields of study, including the natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, and interdisciplinary research. Manuscripts should demonstrate scholarly merit, methodological soundness, clear conclusions, and meaningful contributions to their respective fields.

1.2 Originality and Prior Publication

Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been formally published in any language in other journals and are not concurrently under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts previously posted on preprint platforms (e.g., arXiv, SSRN, our journal's preprint platform) are eligible for submission, provided this is noted upon submission.

1.3 Ethics and Compliance

Research involving human participants or animal experiments must provide approval (or exemption certification) from the relevant institutional ethics committee, with a statement included in the manuscript. All authors must confirm the authenticity of the content, the absence of plagiarism and data fabrication, and sign an author declaration.

II. Submission Process

2.1 Online Submission

Please submit your manuscript through the online submission system on our journal's official website. First-time users will need to register for an author account, then follow the instructions to fill in the required information and upload files.

2.2 Required Documents

• Manuscript Text (including title, abstract, keywords, main text, references, etc., in Word or LaTeX format)

• Figures and Tables (high resolution, recommended at 300 dpi or above, in TIFF or JPEG format)

• Supplementary Materials (if applicable, such as datasets, appendices, videos, etc.)

• Author Information (full names, affiliations, ORCIDs, and contact details of the corresponding author for all authors)

• Cover Letter (briefly outlining the research highlights and why the manuscript is suitable for the journal)

• Author Declaration (confirming originality, ethical compliance, conflict of interest disclosure, etc.)

2.3 Preprint Priority Publication

If you wish to make your research findings publicly available at the earliest opportunity, you may publish a preprint free of charge on our preprint platform before formal submission or during the peer-review process. Once submitted, the preprint will be made publicly available online immediately, allowing you to establish priority of discovery quickly, without affecting subsequent formal journal publication.

III. Formatting Requirements

3.1 Language and Length

• Language: We accept submissions in English, Chinese, Russian, German, French, Korean, Japanese, and other languages (depending on the journal's specific scope). For non-English manuscripts, an English title and abstract are recommended to enhance international visibility.

• Length: Research articles should generally not exceed 8,000 words (including references), reviews should not exceed 12,000 words, and brief reports should not exceed 3,000 words. Extended lengths may be negotiated with the editorial office.

3.2 Structural Requirements

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

1. Title – Concise and accurately reflecting the research content

2. Author Information – Full names, affiliations, and ORCIDs (recommended) for all authors

3. Abstract – 200-300 words, summarizing the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions

4. Keywords – 3-6 terms, facilitating indexing and retrieval

5. Introduction – Stating the research background, questions, and objectives

6. Methods – Detailed description of experimental design, materials, data collection, and analysis to ensure reproducibility

7. Results – Objective presentation of findings, with figures and tables complementing the text

8. Discussion – Interpretation of the results, comparison with existing studies, limitations, and future directions

9. Conclusion – Brief summary of key findings (optional)

10. Acknowledgments – Acknowledging funding sources and contributors (optional)

11. Conflict of Interest Statement – Disclosing all potential conflicts of interest; if none, please state "No conflicts of interest"

12. References – Following the journal's specified format (see below)

13. Appendices/Supplementary Materials – If applicable

3.3 Reference Format

The journal adopts the APA Style (7th edition). In-text citations follow the "author-date" system, and references are listed alphabetically at the end.

3.4 Figures, Tables, and Formulas

• Tables: Created using Word's table function or generated in LaTeX, with the title placed above the table

• Figures: Resolution of at least 300 dpi, with captions placed below the figure, ensuring clarity even when printed in black and white

• Formulas: Created using an equation editor or typeset in LaTeX, numbered sequentially

IV. Peer Review

The journal employs a single-blind peer-review model (reviewers are aware of the authors' identities, but authors do not know who the reviewers are). All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening, and those that pass are sent to at least two experts in the relevant field for review. The reviewers' comments will serve as the basis for acceptance, revision, or rejection.

The typical review period is 4-8 weeks. The editorial office will notify the authors as soon as possible after all reviewer comments have been received.

V. Publishing Models and Fees

The journal offers two publishing models for authors to choose from:

Open Access

• Your work will be permanently available online, free to download, read, and share

• Maximizes academic impact and global visibility

• An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies: 100-500 USD (the exact amount depends on article length, language polishing needs, and typesetting complexity; the editorial office will confirm the amount upon acceptance)

Non‑Open Access (Subscription)

• Published through the traditional subscription channel, with copyright held by the publisher

• Suitable for authors with specific publication policy requirements

• No Article Processing Charge applies

Authors must indicate their preferred publishing model in the submission system. Upon acceptance, authors will receive formal confirmation and sign a publication agreement.

VI. Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy

The journal permits authors to reasonably use artificial intelligence tools (such as large language models, AI-assisted writing, AI-generated figures, etc.) to improve research efficiency and writing quality. The following regulations apply to the use of AI tools:

6.1 Permitted Use Cases

• Language polishing, grammar checking, and expression optimization

• Literature retrieval and abstract summarization assistance

• Data visualization suggestions and figure generation assistance

• Code debugging and algorithm pseudocode generation

6.2 Prohibited Use Cases

• AI tools must not be listed as authors of the paper (authorship must be attributed to natural persons who have made substantive contributions to the research)

• AI tools must not replace authors in core scientific reasoning, data analysis, or conclusion drawing

• AI tools must not be used to generate fabricated data, falsified results, or altered experimental records

6.3 Declaration Requirements

Any manuscript that has utilized AI tools in its preparation must include the following declaration in the "Acknowledgments" or "Methods" section at the end of the manuscript:

This study utilized [tool name and version, e.g., ChatGPT-4/DeepSeek-R1] for [specific purposes, e.g., language polishing/literature organization/figure generation assistance] during the manuscript preparation process. All AI-generated content has been reviewed and modified by the authors before adoption. The authors take full responsibility for the entire content of the paper, ensuring data authenticity and reliable conclusions. AI tools have not been listed as co-authors, nor have they been used to generate core scientific conclusions.

Failure to provide the required declaration may result in the editorial office requesting a supplementary statement during review or after publication; in serious cases, retraction proceedings may be initiated.

VII. Online First Publication

Once a manuscript is formally accepted, it will be published online in advance on the journal's official website after the authors have reviewed the proofs, and assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier). This occurs without waiting for issue compilation, ensuring that research findings are made available to the global community as rapidly as possible.

VIII. Copyright and Open Licensing

• Open Access Articles: Published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), permitting reproduction, distribution, and adaptation in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly credited.

• Subscription Articles: Copyright is held by the publisher, with authors retaining personal use rights under specific terms (e.g., for teaching, research citations, etc.).

Authors may, under terms they specify, permit secondary use of their work in the public domain (copying, reprinting, etc.) to promote broader dissemination of scholarly outcomes.

IX. Self-Archiving Policy

The journal permits authors to archive the final published version (PDF) in:

• Personal websites or institutional repositories

• Open repositories required by funding agencies

Open Access articles may be archived immediately upon publication; subscription articles may be archived 12 months after formal publication (early requests may be considered under special circumstances).
